At least 1,700 disabled people across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire are living in unsuitable homes while waiting for wheelchair-accessible council houses. Figures obtained by ITV Calendar show that, in some places, the wait for an accessible property can be two-and-a-half years. In Bradford alone there are 523 people waiting for a suitable home. The council says it has just two properties that meet requirements.

A college which supports young adults with special educational needs into employment says it's 'heartbroken' after all three of their minibuses were stolen from a locked compound. Harrison College in Doncaster opened in 2019. It provides hands on experience and skills to local people. The minibuses were used to take some students to and from college, but more importantly they allowed pupils to get to businesses, where they learnt first hand the skills for the career they wanted.

Video report by Hannah Norbury. A hotel was full of barks, wagging tails and treats as 16 dogs "graduated" as support dogs at an annual ceremony. The dogs have all been trained to support someone with a disability, with some of the graduates being in training for more than two-and-a-half years. They were all honoured at the Support Dogs annual ceremony in Sheffield. One of those was Zeus - an energetic best friend to his owner, seven-year-old Bobby.

Video report by Hannah NorburyDespite the strong winds and heavy rainfall caused by Storm Bert, a group of people are spending 24 hours living on the streets to raise money to help homeless people in their community. It's now the third year that the team at Grimsby Food Kitchen have done a sleep out, but this year they're spending a full 24 hours on the streets, not just overnight. From 11am on Saturday, 23 November, until 11am on 24 November, they are outside with no money, food or drinks.

More than 14,000 people in the town look after loved ones without pay. It is estimated they save the NHS £270million a year. Among them is Fiona Jermaine, whose mother Helen has motor neurone disease. Fiona quit her job four years ago to become a full-time carer. She said: "It's awful. You never want to do it.
