I was out in public grabbing a bite to eat on my lunch break earlier this year when three of my friends set our group chat alight. I saw the messages come in - and, right there and then, I lost it. I burst into tears. Each friend was announcing, within the space of about five minutes, that they were pregnant. And, while I was happy for them, there was a part of me that couldn't bear it. Because my husband and I are trying to conceive our second baby - but it has been incredibly hard.

I was one of the first people in the UK to make YouTube videos about sex and relationships. I started in 2011 when I was 19 years old. But at the end of last year,I made one of the hardest decisions of my life. After 12 years as a creator, I quit. This decision was something that had been building up for years but it wasn’t until I had my baby in 2022 that things really changed for me, and I knew I could no longer just sit and wait for either burnout or social media “irrelevance” to take me.
