Family-owned and – governed Sasse Group, which operates facilities management across the UK, has acquired 100 per cent of the shares of London-based family business, Capital Maintenance Ltd. The financial terms of the deal are undisclosed. Capital Maintenance, which employs a workforce of around 100 highly skilled technicians, has been a reliable partner in the London market for 33 years. Its services range from project management to maintenance and servicing in the real estate sector.

Amey has been appointed for the management of hard FM services at HMP Lowdham Grange in Nottinghamshire. The site, which was brought under public sector control earlier this year, is a Category B training prison for adult male offenders aged 21 and over, and has an operating capacity of 888. Amey has been supporting existing employees with initial mobilisation activities, ensuring they have the right resources, support, and guidance to transition smoothly into Amey’s ways of operating.
