The shirt and tie trend is finally having a life outside the runway. We saw inklings of this corporate aesthetic last year via the doctor's bag at Louis Vuitton and office-ready pumps at Miu Miu, but it was Saint Laurent's entire body adoption of this trend in its Spring/Summer 2025 collection that cemented its arrival, one that we predicted as a core style pillar in January.

It remains an incubator for new talent, like S.S Daley, Harris Reed, Aaron Eesh, yet it’s a place anchored by tradition and expert tailoring. The likes of which can still be found at heritage houses—well those that are left. It’s this tension that has caused many notable names (Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen) to show in other fashion capitals.
