    COPS have released CCTV in their hunt for a man who allegedly licked a woman’s cheek before putting his hand up her skirt in a beer hall sex assault. A woman in her 20s was in the Bier Keller in Newcastle's Bigg Market at 1am on Saturday, November 16 when a man approached her. The man then grabbed her face and licked her right cheek before putting his hand up her skirt, Northumbria Police said. The force has today released a CCTV snap of a man who was in the area at the time.

    LEGENDARY England rugby coach and Grand Slam winner Jack Rowell has left a huge £5.3million fortune to his family. Rowell, who died aged 87 in July last year, was a key figure in English rugby, leading the national team from 1994 to 1997. He guided England to a Five Nations grand slam and a World Cup semi-final in 1995. Before his tenure with England, Rowell achieved success with Bath Rugby. He oversaw Bath's rise as a dominant force in the domestic game during the 1980s and early 1990s.

    THE NHS has warned Brits not to go outside in the morning or evening after health alerts were issued for the whole of England amid a -8C freeze. Public health bosses have issued amber alerts for the whole of England from now until January 8. The UK Health Security Agency warned a rise in deaths is likely, particularly among the elderly and people with health problems. NHS bosses in the West Midlands have warned locals not to go out early in the morning or late at night, when frost will be thick.

Public health bosses have issued amber alerts for the whole of England from now until January 8. The UK Health Security Agency warned a rise in deaths is likely, particularly among the elderly and people with health problems. Last night the mercury sank as low as minus 8C in rural Scotland and northern England. A yellow warning for snow will be in force from noon tomorrow until 9am on Monday.
