On 11 June 2024, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) in Hong Kong released an Artificial Intelligence: Model Data Protection Framework for AI (the AI Procurement Framework). The AI Procurement Framework follows on from the PCPD’s Guidance on the Ethical Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence issued in August 2021, which is applicable to the self-development of AI.
