It was a big day for soft diplomacy, as Bay Area politicos and VIPs gathered to greet Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye on his first visit to Silicon Valley. On August 22nd, San Francisco Private Dining Venues hosted the 8th annual Toast & Taste event on behalf of Compass Family Services. The evening featured food and drinks from SF’s best fine dining restaurants, along with games and auction prizes, with 100% of the proceeds going to Compass. This year’s event sold out with over 225 attendees, and raised over $60,000 in support of San Francisco’s most vulnerable families.
