And when it rains some more, more water comes.”What this wise man failed to explain to the over 20 million citizens of Karachi was why each time it rains, Karachi ends up looking like the remnants of Moen Jo Daro (in all honesty, it doesn’t look like Paris at any other time of the year either).

Tapping her feet on the walkway outside the Burns Garden, Saiqa Aslam waits patiently. “It should be here any minute now,” says the 25-year-old.
