“John Proctor is the Villain,”Kimberly Belflower’s coming-of-age play currently nominated for seven Tony Awards, has extended its Broadway engagement at the Booth Theatre through August 31. The show began previews March 20 ahead of an April 14 opening, and was previously extended through July 13. Sadie Sink, nominated for a Tony Award for her role as Shelby Holcomb, will play her final performance on July 13. New casting for the role will be announced next week.

Jamie Lloyd’s revival of “Sunset Boulevard,”starring Olivier Award winner Nicole Scherzinger as faded film star Norma Desmond, will play its final performance at the St. James Theatre on July 20, extending a week beyond its previously announced closing date of July 13.
