The headline in the Bozeman Chronicle on 10/26/24 reads “Rounding up.” In the article Ryan Zinke asks Sheriff Springer if he is ready to “round up” undocumented immigrants if a president would order that. Zinke goes on to say “Montana has a long history of rounding things up.” I am deeply disturbed by the dehumanizing tone of this statement that insinuates select human beings may be treated like cattle.
