Due to circumstances beyond our control, effective immediately and for the foreseeable future, new comic and graphic novels from Oni Press will only be offered via Lunar Distribution and will not be available via Diamond Comics Distribution.

We alluded to the stealth announcement of the second title from Ignition Press the other day, but now it is PR official, and here’s an exclusive first look at some of the covers for Voyeur, a “steamy art heist thriller” from Leah Williams (X -Factor, Gotham City Sirens ) and David Baldeón (Domino, Harley Quinn), with colorist Eva de la Cruz and lettering studio AndWorld Design. Williams and Baldeón previously collaborated on Power Girl.

I know you are sick of this. But in case some researcher is trying to look into this some day, I feel compelled to recount all this. A major outlet yesterday announced the “scoop” that Universal, purchaser of Alliance Games, will begin to distribute DC Comics in the US. Universal and Diamond actually signed a distribution deal in 2022, and while it mostly took effect in Canada, technically you could order DC comics from Universal for three years.

And the last temple falls….Previews, the legendary massive print catalog to all the products in the world, something we all mocked but secretly loved…..will be no more. Diamond announced it will move to a Digital only platform on Joomla starting in July. Given the number of suppliers who have abandoned Diamond in recent weeks, it will be a very small digital file indeed.

And finally the last shoe has dropped. Dynamite has announced they are moving to Lunar Distribution starting with books on FOC this week. The move comes after Dyamite remained the last publisher standing without a new partner coming out of the Diamond bankruptcy. And after a lawsuit for $500,000 raged with New Diamond’s owners. Dynamite had not been shipping books to Diamond over the last few weeks while the dispute went on, so it was a move that had to be made.

Oh man, the Sparkle Pop vs Alliance Entertainment lawsuit has been HEATING UP. While Sparkle Pop’s initial complaint was part of the Diamond bankruptcy filings, this is a separate lawsuit with many filings that have to be accessed separately. And boy, there are a lot of filings. With the help of Graphic Policy’s Brett Schenker, I’ve been able to access them and there are hundreds of pages to digest.

The dispute between Dynamite Comics/Dynamic Forces and New Diamond is heating up, with a hearing date set to consider Dynamite’s claim that New Diamond owes them more than half a million dollars. On May 27th Dynamite filed a complaint alleging that Diamond owed them $509,114.21 for comics they had shipped over a three week period. 4/27/25: $58,552.745/04/25: $233,931.365/11/25: $216,630.11Total: $509,114.21The filing included a long lists of products Diamond had ordered from Dynamite.
