Enough with the Black Friday and Cyber Week craziness, already! Unless there is something you’ve been after for a while, don’t get sucked in. Admittedly, my Christmas gift list is much reduced these days, exchanging presents has come to a natural end for many of my friends. And for those I do see over the festive period, I’ll take something simple, something I can buy locally, like a small foodie gift, a bottle of wine, or a lovely book or houseplant.

Katy Marks is an incredible woman. The co-founder of London-based architecture practise Citizens Design Bureau and mother of two young sons, found that after her single mastectomy she just couldn’t get on with wearing a prosthetic. Rather than feeling like she had to hide her body away, Katy took on the challenge of creating an asymmetric bra together with the expertise of a number of lingerie designers. ‘It was very important to me to set an example to my sons.
