Hundreds of people gathered last night (2nd June) to celebrate Bonnier Books UK’s 10th anniversary at the Barbican Conservatory. Co-CEO executive officer Sarah Benton explained her long history with the company, amid the hidden tropical oasis in the City of London as prosecco flowed and cupcakes were shared emblazoned with the company logo. Guests in attendance included Lynda La Plante, Nathanael Lessore, Andy Shepherd, Sunny Singh, SJ Bennett, Vaseem Khan, George Egg and Emma Dodd.

Fig Tree has signed Wants and Needs, the second novel by author and screenwriter Roxy Dunn. The imprint dubbed it "a novel about coming of age when you thought you already had, in which a woman embraces ethical non-monogamy and discovers new kinds of love along the way". Editor Ella Harold and publishing director Helen Garnons-Williams acquired UK and Commonwealth Rights to Wants and Needs from Cara Lee Simpson at Susanna Lea Associates.
