A BODY has been found in the search for a mum who disappeared in the early hours of the morning. Jane Burton was reported missing from Leigh at around 2am on November 12, sparking a hunt by Greater Manchester Police (GMP). Emergency services were believed to have been seen around Pennington Flash and a nearby wooded area throughout the afternoon, Manchester Evening News reports. Police helicopters and ambulances were also deployed to the scene, it is understood.

BRITAIN'S worst hotspots for dodgy driving have been revealed - does your neighbourhood feature? New data from the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) has uncovered the worst offending areas for uninsured driving across the country. Birmingham is the clear leader, with the two worst hotspots - the B11 and B21 postal areas - taken by the city. Five of the top 15 places are taken by Birmingham postcodes. The DA17 postcode in Bexley takes third place, with Wolverhampton's WV2 coming in fourth.

A DEADLY house fire that caused a man and woman's death was sparked by an exploding e-bike battery, cops say. Firefighters rushed to the first-floor flat in Stoke Aldermoor, Coventry at around 4.40am on Friday and spent more than an hour battling the inferno. Two people were tragically found dead inside the property, the Coventry Telegraph reports.

A passenger described "chaos" aboard the flightA MAN suffered a "medical emergency" mid-air on a Ryanair flight and later died onboard. The aircraft, which was flying from Tirana, Albania, to Manchester Airport, had to suddenly divert to London Stansted during the incident on November 10. Emergency service crews including medics, airport fire squads and an air ambulance surrounded the plane after it landed, Manchester Evening News reports. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
