NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Here we snow again — kind of. We are under a Storm 5 Alert from midnight until noon Sunday. Forecast models continue to trend up regarding snow chances tonight into Sunday morning. Arctic air will race in tonight and catch up with the remaining moisture in the atmosphere. That will lead to snow. The ground will take a little bit of time to cool to support accumulation, but this could lead to a dusting to half an inch for most and around 1 inch on the Plateau.

Sad news in the world of broadcast meteorology as a pioneer in so many ways, @garyeOK, has passed away. Despite growing up in Memphis, I remember the first time I ever watched live footage of a tornado from storm chasers. They were storm chasers affiliated with Gary’s station,

Sunday at The @greattnairshow it was a pleasure meeting @NC5 viewer, Aiden! He came by to check out both Sky 5 & Storm 5 Titan. #NC5 #Sky5 #Storm5Titan @EWScrippsCo @ScrippsHowardFd https://t.co/1qVNWTNAQp

Wishing my friend David Drobny the best. What David & the others @NashSevereWx have built revolutionized the meaning of being a Storm Spotter. Aside from being an incredible spotter and source, he is an even better person & friend!
