This was announced by Yudi Sastro, Director General of Food Crops at the Ministry of Agriculture, after joining a corn harvest in Bantul, Yogyakarta, on Saturday. “The majority of corn we grow in Indonesia is feed corn,” Sastro said.

Bantul (ANTARA) - Indonesia’s Ministry of Agriculture has carried out a large-scale corn harvest on previously uncultivated land in Bantul, Yogyakarta. “This is extraordinary. The land was originally unfit for farming but has now been transformed and planted with corn, and the results are remarkable,” said Yudi Sastro, Director General of Food Crops at the Ministry of Agriculture, during the harvest on Saturday. The harvested area covers three hectares.

Bantul (ANTARA) - Pemerintah Kabupaten Bantul Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta menyiapkan rencana induk dan Detail Engineering Design (DED) pembangunan dermaga pendaratan ikan di kawasan Pantai Depok Parangtritis DIY. "Kita sudah menyusun master plan (rencana induk) dan DED untuk pembangunan dermaga di Pantai Depok. Ini bagian dari upaya Pemkab Bantul mewujudkan program unggulan di bidang kelautan dan perikanan," kata Bupati Bantul Abdul Halim Muslih di Bantul, Minggu.
