Theatre 29’s wildly successful Summer Youth Theatre program announces their 2025 program and dates. The program will run from June 23rd though July 27th, 2025, culminating in four performances of the Broadway Musicals, “Willy Wonka the Musical, Kids”, and “Willy Wonka the Musical, Jr.”, on July 24, 25, 26, and 27, 2025. Program Director Lisa Hodgson said The Youth Theatre Program and the performances will all be held at the Theater 29 complex at 73637 Sullivan Road in Twentynine Palms.

The Desert Fringe Theatre and Cultural Arts Festival will take place March 28-30, in the city of Twentynine Palms. It explores art and culture through events which take place from the “End of the World Through the Town.” The festival debuts at The Glass Outhouse Art Gallery in Wonder Valley and then moves through the city of Twentynine Palms with events that include artists talks, music, theatre, spoken word and improv.

Director Abe Daniels will bring Samuel Becket’s absurdist classic “Waiting for Godot,” to Joshua Tree’s Summer Theater Under The Stars at Windwalkers Medicine Wheel, 6930 Lawrence Avenue. The story of two vagabonds waiting to meet a man who, they hope, will help them improve their lives, will take the stage March 14 to 23, with performances at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays.
