That means President-elect Donald Trump will have full control of the levers of power in Washington. But there are still a handful of House races that have not yet been called. Those are listed below.

At this hour, they are two seats short of the 218 majority needed with a dozen races still uncalled. Republicans currently lead in six of those. An official call on control of the House could come as soon as Wednesday night, according to the Associated Press, which NPR follows for race calls. There are close races, which makes them difficult to call, as shown below.

Topline: Control of the House is still too close to call, according to the Associated Press. Here's a running list of races that are still outstanding. So far:Democrats have so far flipped 4 seats and are leading in 1 other of the 10 remaining Republican-held competitive seats. Republicans have flipped 3 and are leading in 2 of the 10 remaining Democratic-held competitive seats. Why it matters: If that all holds, Democrats would be +5 and Republicans +5 for a 0 net gain for either party.

Control of the House is still too close to call, according to the Associated Press. There is still a lot of outstanding vote in western states, like California, where there are multiple competitive races. Democrats need a net gain of 4 seats to win the majority. Democrats have flipped 4 seats and are leading in 2 other of the 11 remaining Republican-held competitive seats. Republicans have flipped 3 and are leading in 2 of the 10 remaining Democratic-held competitive seats.
