Gaza solidarity encampments have spread to university campuses across Australia, inspired by the movement on university campuses in the US. A number of students camped out on the ANU's Kambri Lawn on Monday night as part of a protest led by ANUSA, the ANU Students' Association.

Students at the ANU in Canberra have set up a Gaza solidarity encampment on campus in a move mirroring protests occurring at universities across the United States. Protest organisers Beatrice Tucker and Luke Harrison joined Ross Solly in the studio. Ms Tucker said she "would not condemn" the October 7 Hamas attack. "I actually say that Hamas deserve our unconditional support .... not because I agree with their strategy ... (I have) complete disagreements with that," she said.
