DiscussionThis is the first attempt to assess the elaborate trends and projections of UHC indicators of health service availability and health service coverage in Iraq, at the national and subnational levels in 2000–2030. The trend analysis in 2000–2020 revealed stagnant trends in health facility and inpatient bed, as well as significant trend changes in all health service coverage indicators, which were negatively impacted by the major conflicts and the pandemic.
