Windy, rainy afternoons through Friday with calmer and brighter skies briefly for Saturday. Low pressure offshore that was (suppose) to bring severe weather yesterday is moving inland set to bring waves of rain, gusty winds and mountain snow through Friday night, but drier and brighter skies likely into Saturday. OREGON T-STORM CHANCES growing for Wednesday between 3-7 PM. STRONGEST will be oriented across the Willamette Valley and Cascades THREAT for hail, gusty winds and a 5% chance of a very weak tornado somewhere in the PNW. This is a prime set-up for Pac NW thunderstorms tomorrow with high dew points, little shear and really cold air above to allow thunderstorm development. Conditions calm and turn colder by the remainder of the week with showers and mountain snow.

River levels will start to lower despite rain chances. This week, rain will be lighter and very scattered until Thursday & Friday. Up to an inch of rain, versus 5. Main storm has passed and what's left is a whole lot of moisture and onshore flow will continue to yield showers into Tuesday, but also mixed with sun. Valley and coast temperatures will remain cool for this time of year, in the 50s.

Heavy rains begin Friday night, lasts through Monday. Showers will transition to steady and eventually heavy rain into weekend with up to 6-inches of rain for some, 3-4 feet of snow for Cascades. Wettest day of the week will likely be Saturday and Sunday as an 'Atmospheric River' slams into Northern Oregon, but realistically measurable rainfall is likely each and every day through next Monday.
