    Alisha Fredriksson, CEO and co-founder of onboard carbon capture company Seabound won the Nor-Shipping Young Entrepreneur award on Monday. Fredriksson founded London-based Seabound in 2021 and its first onboard carbon capture systems were deployed two years later. During sea trials, up to 80% of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions on a 3,200-teu container ship were captured by the Seabound system, which uses lime to turn the gas into limestone.
