3. Synthesis of Metallic FexGeTe2 with FM 3.1. Solid-State Reaction (SSR)The solid-state reaction (SSR) is an experimental method for preparing bulk FGT crystals. As early as 2006, Deiseroth et al. [35] successfully prepared FGT crystals with hexagonal plates using SSR, which exhibited novel air stability and black metallic properties. Through magnetic testing, it was found that below 230 K, the crystals exhibited FM. Meanwhile, above 230 K, they exhibited Curie–Weiss paramagnetic behavior.
