Nanoclay modulated copper cysteamine composites for enhanced fluorescence Qianqian Liu, Hao Wang, Xiaozheng Liang, Yili Tang and Huaming Yang Abstract Herein, copper cysteamine (CC) loaded montmorillonite (MMT) forms the montmorillonite-copper cysteamine (MCC) composite to enhance fluorescence properties. This enhancement mechanism includes electron transfer, structural stability enhancement, and a nonradiative deactivation process.
