1. IntroductionThe speed and impact of climate change are a global concern, as they pose serious risks to life on planet Earth. Among the causes of such changes, the emission of greenhouse gases (GHG) stands out, such as CO2, responsible for global warming. Thus, the topic has been addressed over the years in national and international forums, the most representative being the United Nations Conference on Climate Change, which has resulted in agreements to try and limit global warming.
