The classic Stephen King novel, Carrie, is getting a new adaptation from Mike Flanagan at Prime Video. They’ve officially greenlit an eight-episode adaptation of the 1974 novel. Amazon MGM Studios will produce the show. Flanagan serves as writer and showrunner in addition to directing select episodes. This is the fourth time he’ll adapt Stephen King including Gerald’s Game, Doctor Sleep, and the upcoming The Life Of Chuck.
