    WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - The Wichita Falls Transit Authority is proposing changes to its bus fare structure, with Tuesday marking the first of three scheduled public hearings on the issue. The main suggestion under consideration is eliminating the current $1.50 one-way fare in favor of a $3.50 all-day pass, which would allow riders unlimited travel for 24 hours. If approved, this would be the first fare increase since 2013.

During their visit to Station 1, campers had the chance to see the department’s ladder truck in action and even got to test their skills with a real fire hose.     WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Jeff Jenkins has officially started as Wichita Falls’ new city manager. Jenkins brings more than 21 years of experience in city management and a deep personal connection to the area. He grew up just north of Wichita Falls in Cashion Community and graduated from Midwestern State University. During his time in college Jenkins also worked as a salesman in the Sikes Center Sears location. Over the years, Jenkins has been credited with helping rejuvenate several cities.
