Tennessee will have a new starting quarterback for the 2025 season. ESPN's Chris Low revealed on Friday that quarterback Nico Iamaleava was holding out of Tennessee spring practices since he was seeking an NIL deal of $4 million per season. The program was "surprised" by the move but Low also reported that Tennessee officials weren't going to "blink."Low was right about that because ESPN's Pete Thamel reported on Saturday that the program was moving on from Iamaleava.

United States Men's National Team midfielder Weston McKennie is one of the best players in the current generation of the USMNT. McKennie has made 58 appearances for the USMNT, scoring 11 goals and assisting seven others. Carr is weighing his options, including having surgery on his shoulder. They don't want to trade him and have repeatedly said they want to keep him. It's fun putting out some silly season trade proposals but this one looks unlikely to happen for both sides.
