1. IntroductionThe ether-à-go-go-related gene (hERG) encrypts the voltage-gated potassium ion channel that plays a pivotal role in repolarizing the potential of cardiac action []. An impediment in the hERG channel may substantiate the risk of cardiac toxicity by retarding ventricular repolarization, which can be visualized explicitly through the extension of the time from ventricular depolarization to repolarization (QT interval) on electrocardiography [].
