Council, at its April 24 meeting, approved a deal that would see the physician — who has not yet been named — start at the town-run Beck Street medical clinic in September. The town took over the clinic building in mid-2023, using its share of the revenue from the Wasaga Playtime Casino to lease the space and reopen a municipally-run after-hours clinic.
