The company is hosting it’s first Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025 at 1 PM ET to show off the latest in Galaxy AI, and presumably new Galaxy devices it runs on.

Ultimately, you have to decide what you're using your tablet for, and how protective you need your case to be. Unless the ultimate owner of your tablet is a child, using a case isn't critical. Most tablets are well-constructed enough that you don't need to worry about breaking them, and they're mostly used while stationary.

    The first wave of AI features has been defined by summarization. Apple, Google, and Samsung all offer some version of notes, notifications, or email summaries, in some cases without the need to connect to the internet at all. That makes a good bit of sense: large language models are trained on mountains of text, so it might follow that they're able to condense that text efficiently.
