    Comgest appointed a new leader for its emerging markets equity team, with two veteran portfolio managers set to exit, according to a Morningstar note. Nick Payne, who joined the Paris-based fund house in January from Jupiter Asset Management, has been appointed head of the entire emerging markets equity team. He will oversee the group across its Paris and Southeast Asia offices, while continuing to co-manage the $422m Comgest Growth Emerging Markets strategy alongside Slabbert van Zyl.
