Newport County caretaker boss Dafydd Williams is not ruling himself out of the running for the job full-time, saying he wants to stay at the club "in whatever capacity". Williams was placed in temporary charge for the final two games of the season following the departure of Nelson Jardim. The 32-year-old will lead Newport in their final fixture of the 2024-25 League Two campaign against Tranmere Rovers at Rodney Parade on Saturday, 3 May (15:00 BST).

As one of the sport's extroverts, Dale says he liked being "the centre of attention" and entertaining crowds, not just with his snooker skills but his vocal talents, too. Never more so than in 2014, when he serenaded spectators with a rendition of Frank Sinatra's My Way after winning the final of the Snooker Shootout. "I was asked to do it," he said. "The TV presenter at the time said 'If you win this thing, will you sing?' and I said 'Yes, of course'.
