Yeovil Town Women enjoyed a victorious homecoming on Sunday, as they played a fixture at Huish Park for the first time since their rebirth in 2023. The game took place less than two weeks after it was revealed that their previous incarnation, under the guise of Bridgwater United, will be playing their home games at Clevedon next year – some 50 miles away.

London City Lionesses extended their unbeaten run in the Barclays Women’s Championship to 9 games at St Mary’s Stadium on Good Friday, after a comfortable 4-1 victory over Southampton. In doing so, they moved into a 5 point lead over Birmingham City, who have just three games left to catch them. The two rivals will meet at St Andrews on 4th May in what will likely be the title decider. Isobel Goodwin was the star of the show, earning the match ball with a well taken hat-trick.
