Aaron Rodgers has agreed to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodgers will fly to Pittsburgh on Friday and sign before next week's minicamp. Rodgers has remained a free agent this offseason after his release by the New York Jets. The Steelers had a major vacancy at quarterback following the exits of Justin Fields and Russell Wilson. Rodgers had an inconsistent 2024 season after recovering from his torn Achilles in 2023.

Frank Ragnow has informed the Detroit Lions that he will retire from the NFL at the age of 29. Ragnow was a three-time second-team All-Pro at center. The Lions selected Ragnow with the 20th overall pick in the 2018 draft out of Arkansas. Ragnow signed a four-year, $54 million contract extension in 2021. Ragnow went on to have an injury-shortened season, but had been healthy throughout the past three seasons.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have acquired the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft from the Cleveland Browns. The Jaguars will send the No. 5 pick, the 36th overall pick, the 126th overall pick along with their own first round pick in the 2026 draft. The Jaguars will also receive the 104th overall pick and the 200th overall pick. The Jaguars selected Travis Hunter, who won the Heisman Trophy and expects to play both wide receiver and cornerback in the NFL.

Tuesday morning, NFL Media reported that the Miami Dolphins will explore trading perennial Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey. The #Dolphins and seven-time Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey are mutually set to explore trade options and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he played elsewhere in 2025, per me and @TomPelissero.

Daniel Jones has agreed to sign a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts. Jones also considered re-signing with the Minnesota Vikings, but he will have an opportunity to earn the starting job with the Colts in a competition with Anthony Richardson. The Vikings are expected to sign a veteran quarterback to join JJ McCarthy after they also lost Sam Darnold. Jones finished the 2024 season with the Vikings after his release by the New York Giants.
