Amid the second half of the 2024-25 season, Syracuse Ice Hockey endured another tough loss at Tennity. The Orange fell 4-0 to No. 9 Penn State in the final game of a weekend series earlier today. After dropping the first game 1-0 in overtime last night, SU hoped for a statement win against the top team in the AHA.

In a wild turn of events, Syracuse Ice Hockey blew by RIT with a 4-2 win at Tennity. The Orange scored four unanswered goals, three of which came in the final period. Even though SU got its way tonight, the girls have come a long way since the start of the season. Syracuse started the 2024-25 campaign by winning its first two games against Stonehill. Both contests resulted in 4-0 shutouts in favor of the Orange. However, as momentum started to arise, the season began to decline.

Goals from Jackson Kinsler and Maya D’Arcy not enough as Terriers sweep weekend series over the Orange. Ian Rempe In Syracuse’s women’s hockey’s (2-7) took the 3-2 defeat in its second matchup with Boston University in less than 24 hours. The prior day, the Terriers took down the Orange 4-1. However in this game, SU fixed many of its mistakes to keep the matchup competitive. The first 20 minutes of play were rather bland from each side.
