The Littman + White Galleries are student-run exhibition spaces located in PSU’s Smith Memorial Student Union. Gallery curators focus on empowering marginalized voices and perspectives through thought-provoking shows from local, regional, and national artists.

    On April 19, the Portland State Vanguard was honored with 26 awards at the 2024 Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association Collegiate Newspaper Contest, including first place in the General Excellence category. Awards are given for a variety of published content, including writing, design, and photography, based on multiple evaluation criteria including news value, writing quality, originality, imagination, composition, and impact.

    On Friday, April 19, the winners of the 2024 PSU Student Employment Awards were announced during the annual Student Employment Celebration in the Smith Memorial Student Union Ballroom. The program included lunch provided by PSU Eats, a welcome address from Greg Flores, Director of University Career Services, and the conferral of awards from emcees Michele Toppe, Vice Provost for Student Affairs, and Yousif Ibrahim, ASPSU President.
