The end of the previous collection was definitely dramatic and that drama only continues to escalate in this latest edition. We begin by following the aftermath of a shocking incident at the workplace of The Fable, the hitman currently in hiding and working under the name Akira Sato. WARNING: This book covers topics such as sexual assault, forced sex work and stalking, which some readers may find disturbing. In my review of the previous Fable omnibus, I commented that it would be interesting to see how the events it covers would continue in this fifth collection.
