Electronic interaction between dimethyl carbonate and Li+ studied by attenuated total reflectance far-ultraviolet spectroscopy Dimethyl carbonate and Li+ electrolytes were analyzed by attenuated total reflectance far-ultraviolt (ATR-FUV, ≤200 nm) spectroscopy. The spectra showed a redshift with Li+ addition, attributed to the charge transfer, as revealed by quantum chemical calculations.
