Share The Indiana Fever parted ways with head coach Christie Sides on Sunday following a first-round exit in the WNBA playoffs. The team went 20-20 to land the No. 6 seed in the postseason before being swept by the Connecticut Sun . The decision came as a bit of a shock given the team’s success in the second half of the season. The Fever went 17-10 over the last 27 games following a 3-10 start. We have parted ways with head coach Christie Sides.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever are making changes to their front offices. On Friday, the team named Amber Cox as the new Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. She will start on October 28th. The Fever also announced that the current General Manager, Lin Dunn, will move into a new position as Senior Advisor to Fever Basketball. Cox has previously served as Chief Operating Officer of the Dallas Wings and Vice President of Sports for the Connecticut Sun.

I’m positive that by now, everyone has witnessed Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever in action. How could you not? Even the most casual sports fan can’t miss the impact Clark has on her sport. I say “her sport” because it is her sport right now, and everybody else is just playing in it. MINNEAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever (11-14) defeated the Minnesota Lynx, 81-74, on Sunday afternoon at Target Center in the first of three matchups this regular season. In front of a sold out Target Center, Indiana outscored Minnesota, 28-14, and held Minnesota to only 4-of-13 shooting in the fourth quarter. For the second-consecutive game, Fever guards Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark, center Aliyah Boston and forward NaLyssa Smith all scored in double figures.
