The crash last September involved a Mercedes A-Class car and a MAN box van as a "number of calls around that time also reported six horses running loose on the A737". Two people have been charged after a woman and four horses died in an early morning road crash. The horror incident took place on the A737 near Howwood in the early hours of September 23 last year, involving a Mercedes A-class car and a MAN box van.

Cops are treating the death as "unexplained" and a probe has been launched to establish the full circumstances around the sad incident. A man has tragically died after going wild swimming on the west coast. The 68-year-old got in to trouble during Thursday night while swimming at Kilchattan Bay on the Isle of Bute. An ambulance was called and he was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Footage from the scene shows the area taped off as around 25 firefighters tackled the blaze. Six casualties have been treated at the scene after a terrifying blaze tore through a block of flats. Emergency services rushed to Gunnet Court in the capital at 10.50pm on June 19, as a raging inferno tore through a third floor flat. Giant orange flames could be seen engulfing the property as firefighters used a height appliances to spray water into the building while residents watched on in horror.
