Meta Platforms has unveiled its new artificial intelligence chip, which it says will “significantly improve” the performance of the systems that rank advertisements and recommend content to users of its apps. The new Meta Training and Inference Accelerator chip is the second version of its chip developed in-house to power Meta’s AI models. “This chip’s architecture is fundamentally focused on
