Dear Colleagues,The discovery of the oncogenicity of the human papilloma virus has allowed the scientific community to take huge strides forward in managing cervical cancer. Deepening this knowledge has improved our ability to screen and treat this disease. Furthermore, it has provided a unique weapon: primary prevention of an oncological disease through vaccination.
