The deadline has almost arrived for registered pharmacists to make nominations for positions on the PSI Council. There will be five pharmacists completing their current terms as Council members with the PSI in June this year. The nomination period closes at 12pm tomorrow, 19 March 2025. The Council is made up of people from a variety of backgrounds who come to serve on the Council via a variety of routes.

During Shingles Awareness Week (24 February-2 March 2025), it was announced that a position paper has been produced examining what is required for Ireland to develop a comprehensive adult immunisation programme. The extensive position paper is informed by a diverse group of experts in healthcare and immunisation and best practice from abroad.
