    Mt. Juliet Police used license plate readers over the Memorial Day weekend to track a group of speeding Mustangs that allegedly reached triple-digit speeds on Interstate 40. On Saturday night, just after 9 p.m., MJPD released information regarding three Nashville men being charged after three Ford Mustangs “flew past” an officer allegedly going over 120 mph on I-40. License plate readers were instrumental in finding and stopping the individuals, according to police.

    Mt. Juliet Police conducted a traffic stop Friday afternoon, May 16, which led to the arrest of a wanted Clarksville woman. Initially pulled over for a window tint violation as the vehicle traveled from Golden Bear Gateway, officers confirmed the driver’s identity as 29-year-old Travnisha Anderson who was wanted on a sealed indictment out of Nashville. The indictment was for bringing contraband into a jail and also an outstanding warrant for vandalism.
