KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. -- Oregon State Police is investigating an officer-involved shooting near Collier Park north of Chiloquin that happened on Dec. 23, 2024. According to a Facebook post from the Klamath County Sheriff's Office, the deputies involved are on administrative leave until the investigation ends. The Klamath County Sheriff's Office released the following statement.

OREGON -- Oregonians are now able to renew their vehicle registration at nine kiosks in Fred Meyer stores across Oregon -- including one in Medford. According to a news release from the Oregon Department of Transportations, the kiosks are in Fred Meyers in Beaverton, Bend, Eugene, Happy Valley, Hillsboro, Medford, Oak Grove, Salem and Tualatin -- with a 10th one coming to Portland soon. The interactive map says that Medford's kiosk is located at the Fred Meyer at 2424 Crater Lake Hwy.

BROOKINGS, Ore. -- Residents who live beyond Mountain Drive in Brookings won't be able to access water due to a water main break on the North Bank Chetco River Road. According to a news release from the City of Brookings, crews are working on repairs and water service is expected to return at about 6 p.m. tonight. OREGON & WASHINGTON -- The FBI is asking the public for help today in identifying the suspect behind the ballot box fires in Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA last October. They say they need to hunt this suspect down before they act out and harms others. "We need your help to identify the person responsible for placing these devices to ensure that they will not harm themself or others," the release said. "The thermite devices they have created can cause severe injuries and damage to structures.
