DULUTH, Minn.- It was a historical day for the Rock Ridge boys hockey team on Thursday night as they played in their first-ever Section 7AA title game. Unfortunately, the Wolverines ran into an experienced Andover Huskies squad who came away with the 3 to 1 victory. Grady Dimberio had the lone goal for Rock Ridge in the 2nd period. Rock Ridge ends the season with an overall record of 22-4-2.

    Whitaker Rewertz had the game-winning goal to send Hibbing/Chisholm to their first state tournament since 2011. DULUTH, Minn.- The Hibbing/Chisholm and Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys hockey teams battled for the Section 7A title on Wednesday night. In an instant classic, the Bluejackets ended up knocking off the Lumberjacks 4 to 3 in overtime. Whitaker Rewertz had the game-winning goal to send Hibbing/Chisholm to their first state tournament since 2011.
