12th June 2025. A very sad day for the aviation fraternity and indeed for the whole world. An Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft bound for London Gatwick tragically crashed in Ahmedabad, India just after takeoff. My thoughts go out to anyone who has lost their loved one. I cannot even begin to comprehend how that must feel. Even though I don’t know anyone involved in the accident, the whole thing has been hard to even think about.

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the opening of its ninth hotel in Gujarat – Lemon Tree Hotel, Jamnagar. The newly opened Lemon Tree Hotel, Jamnagar is located near Digjam Circle. Jamnagar Airport is 5.6 kilometers away while Jamnagar Railway Station is 4.3 kilometers away. The hotel features 60 rooms and suites and will open in two phases. Malaysia Airlines has announced an order for 30 additional Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. Read on to know more. Star Alliance partners Air India and Air New Zealand have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the objective of boosting air connectivity between India and New Zealand.
