Não recordo muito bem quando comecei a escrever. No traiçoeiro campo da memória, eu diria que foi quase ao mesmo tempo que comecei a ler.

Este deveria ser um texto sobre o poder da literatura de nos deslocar para o lugar do outro. Como leitor e autor compreendo que esse talvez seja um dos sentidos mais proeminentes da ficção.
Deslocar-se para o lugar do outro expande nosso horizonte, por natureza limitado, e reestabelece entre nós o exercício da alteridade. Sendo assim, é provável que, em um mundo onde vige o altericídio, a incapacidade de coexistir com o diferente, a literatura nos devolva algo importante.
