These are precarious times. Today, fewer and fewer institutions, governments and communities worldwide embrace facts. Too many shun reality in favor of a world without a free press. We’re living in an era where democracy itself hangs in the balance. And let’s be clear: Without press freedom, there is no democracy. To sustain democracy, credible and equitable reporting must survive.
